Everglades Fishing Report

July 29, 2009

014_14With the weather in the everglades being perfect we decided to run about 2 miles offshore and fish some wrecks . At our first spot we scored with some nice snapper and mackeral  in the 4lb range. Later on in the morning we decided to fish another wreck were we hook several nice jew fish a few small grouper and some nice tripletrail to 10 lbs. The summer time in the everglades with the weather being calm is a great time to fish some inshore wreaks that can hold many diffent kind of species of fish

The first spot we fished was a shoreline with the bottom covered with oysters .there we caught several nice snook to 5lbs . When the fishing slowed up at that spot we moved to and outside point were we caught some nice redfish to 10 lbs. June is a great time of year in the everglades for fly fishing
