The fishing in the everglades has been on fire with a lot of snook being caught . Today when we left my dock we headed south to fish the outside beaches on a rising Tide for snook . The bait of choice were live pilchardsin the 4- 6 inch range .At our first spot we scored with snook up to 12 lbs as the morning went on the snook continued to bite non stop . later on in the afternoon we stop at a trout flat were the trout were also on the bite there we scored with several in the 5 lbs range This is truly one of the best time of year to fish in the everglades
