Everglades Fishing Report

img_0032The weather in the everglades has been sunny and hot . When we left my dock in everglades city this morning we decided to net some bait and fish for redfish and snook .With the tide rising we fished an outside beach were we caught several nice redfish to 10 lbs . The next spot we fished was and oyster bar were the water was pouring in there we scored with a nice mix of snook and redfish. With the weather getting hot in the everglades so is the fishing

Everglades Fishing Report

img_0034The snook and red fishing in the everglades today was red hot today  We stared of casting top water plugs that the that snookcould not refuse . We caught several nice snook to 12 lbs .As the tide started to rise we switch to riptide jigs were we caught a good mix of red fish and snook. With the water temperature in the everglades close to 80 the fish are starting turn on and feed .

img_0041The wind in the everglades just wont let up .When we left my dock it was blowing a steady 2o mph at of the south so we decided to fish around the island and hide from the wind . At our first spot we caught several nice redfish to 10 lbs using smoke colored riptide jigs . The next spot we fished was a deep channel were we caught several nice trout and pompano . Even no the wind has been blowing hard in the everglades the fishing is still good with a lot of nice fish being caught Thanks Capt Glenn Puopolo  www.fishingtheeverglades.com

Everglades fishing report

img_0037when we left my dock in everglades city this morning we headed deep into the backcountry to do some fly fishing for redfish and snook  The first spot was a shoreline with many snags there we caught several of snook to 6 lbs . The next spot was an oyster bar were we caught some nice redfish to 8 lbs .As the rest of the day went on we scored with several more snook and redfish . Toady’s fly fishing in the everglades was filled with some great action and nice fish
