When we left my dock in everglades city this morning the wind was out of the west and the water was dirty . With no live bait around we decided to use fresh curt lady fish for bait. The first spot we spot at was and oyster bay were the tide was running out there we scored with 5 nice redfish to 7 lbs. At the next spot we scored with a mix of both redfish and snook . For the rest of the day the fishing remained steady and good . Even thoughthe wind was out of the west and the water was dirty it was a good day of fishing in the everglades

Today when we left my dock in everglades city the weather forecast called for early morning showers . So we decided to fish for snook on fly but fish close to home so we wouldn’t get caught in any of the stormes that roll on this time of year. The first spot we fished was a shoreline with alot of oysters on the bottom, there we scored with 2 nice snook to 8lbs . As the morning went on we caught and released many more snook and a few redfish. This time of year in the everglades for fly fishing

When we left my dock out of everglades city this morning the storms were starting to built up so we decided to fish close to home. We netted some finger mullet for bait and with the incoming tide we we fished some oyster bars that hold some great snook and redfish .Within the first couple of minutes we hook and released 5 snook to 10lbs with a few nice redfish thrown in, As the morning went on we scored with several more snook and redfish and with the storms building up and lighting in the sky we decided to call it a great day of fishing in the everglades.

Today we left out of everglades city at daylight to beat the heat and storms that built up in the early afternoon .Our plan was to snook and redfish way down south of everglades city. On the way down we decided to stop and look for a tarpon in a bay that has been holding a few tarpon early in the morning .When we stop we saw several rolling so we decided to take a couple of cast and within a few minutes we hook a 80lb tarpon , after an hour fight we released this silver king and went on our way down south were we scored with several nice snook and redfish . This time of year in the everglades can produce some good early morning tarpon fishing

Today when we left out of everglades city the water was calm so we ran offshore to fish some in shore wrecks .At our first spot we scored with several nice snapper and small grouper . At our next spot we hook a nice permit that broke us off in the wreck. On the way to the next wreck we found a nice tripetail under a piece of floating wood that couldn’t refuse a live shrimp .This time of year in the everglades the inshore wrecks fishing can be filled with a lot of action
